Most Spiti trips fall apart at the paperwork. Ours don’t.
Spiti sits inside a protected border zone — most of the circuit needs an Inner Line Permit, and several stretches need additional Protected Area clearance depending on nationality and route. Travellers who arrange this themselves often lose a day at a checkpoint, or discover a permit gap once they’re already in Kaza.
We file everything before you land — checked against the current route rules for your specific nationality and itinerary, not a generic template. It’s the unglamorous part of the trip. It’s also the part that decides whether the trip happens on schedule.

Roughly June through October by road, depending on snowfall at the passes that year. We track conditions closely and will tell you plainly if your preferred dates are risky rather than book around it.
Yes — most of the circuit requires a Protected Area Permit for foreign travellers, on top of the Inner Line Permit needed by everyone. We handle both as part of every package above.
Every route is paced with rest days built in before we push higher, and we brief every traveller on symptoms to watch for. We’d rather add a day than rush one.
