What makes it different

This honey comes from the wild — not a farm

Most honey you buy in stores is processed, heated, and blended from multiple sources. Our raw honey is collected from wild beehives found deep in the Himalayan forests of Tirthan, Jibhi, and Spiti. It is unheated, unfiltered, and untouched — straight from the hive to your home.

How we get it

Into the jungle — the old way

Our bee hunters trek hours into dense Himalayan forest to reach wild hives. No machinery. No shortcuts. Just skill, smoke, and respect for the bees.

1 Tracking the hives Local hunters who have known these forests for decades locate wild beehives — often hanging from cliff faces, inside tree hollows, or deep in the forest canopy. These are hives that have existed for years. 2 The jungle trek No roads, no vehicles. Our hunters walk hours through dense forest at altitude — sometimes over 8,000 feet — carrying traditional tools. The trek itself can take a full day. 3 Traditional smoke harvesting Using smoke from specific medicinal plants, they calm the bees naturally — no chemicals. Only the excess honeycomb is taken. The hive and the bees are left completely unharmed. 4 Cold-pressed, never heated Back at the village, the honey is extracted by hand pressure — no heat, no machines. This keeps all natural enzymes, pollen, and nutrients fully intact. 5 Bottled and sent to you Packed in glass jars with no preservatives, no blending, no additives. What you receive is exactly what came out of the hive — raw, wild, and real. Bee hunter in the jungle collecting honey 🌲 Add your jungle / bee hunter photo here

“My grandfather showed me these hives. His grandfather showed him. This is not a job — it is a relationship with the forest. We only take what the forest offers.”

— Ramu Singh, wild honey hunter, Tirthan Valley

Why it matters for you

Benefits of raw wild honey

Heating and filtering destroy the very things that make honey medicinal. Our honey is never touched by heat, so everything that makes it powerful stays intact.

🌸 Rich in natural enzymes Heating destroys enzymes. Our honey is never heated, so all beneficial enzymes remain fully active and bioavailable. 🦫 Antibacterial properties Wild honey from diverse forest flowers has a higher concentration of antimicrobial compounds than farmed honey. 🌿 Wild pollen from Himalayan flowers Contains pollen from dozens of wild species — something you will never find in commercial honey. 💪 Immune support Used in Ayurveda for centuries. Local communities rely on it for coughs, digestion, and overall vitality. 🍂 Seasonal and rare Harvested only once or twice a year. Each batch reflects a unique season and forest — no two jars are identical. ❤️ No added sugar, ever Genuinely pure. High antioxidant content makes it a healthy alternative to any refined sweetener.

Common questions

Everything you want to know

How is your honey different from branded honey in stores? + Store-bought honey is almost always heated, blended from multiple countries, and heavily filtered. This removes pollen, enzymes, and much of the nutritional value. Our honey is collected from single wild hives, never heated, and only lightly strained through cloth — preserving everything nature put into it. Why does raw honey crystallise? + Crystallisation is a natural sign of purity — it means the honey has not been heated or adulterated. To return it to liquid form, simply place the jar in warm (not boiling) water for a few minutes. Never microwave raw honey as this destroys the enzymes. Is the honey safe for children? + Raw honey is not recommended for children under 1 year of age due to the risk of infant botulism. For children above 1 year and adults, raw honey is perfectly safe and widely used in traditional medicine across the Himalayas. How is the honey shipped and how long does it last? + We ship in sealed glass jars with bubble-wrap protection across India. Raw honey has an indefinite shelf life when stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. There are no preservatives — none are needed. How much stock is available? + We harvest only once or twice a year, so stock is genuinely limited. Once the seasonal batch sells out, it is gone until the next harvest. We recommend ordering early to avoid disappointment, especially for the Spiti variety.
